CRATEFLOW BETA COMPANION OFFLINE
DJ MUSIC SOURCING

One list. Every store. Far less copying.

Search a track or paste a whole playlist. Build a Smart Crate, compare retailer coverage and price, then hand each group off for checkout.

How this prototype works
  1. Bring your track list. Search one song at a time or paste a full playlist. For bulk import, use one track per line—ideally Artist – Track Title.
  2. We compare sources. The finished product will check connected music retailers for availability, version, format and price. This test version uses simulated retailer data so you can evaluate the workflow first.
  3. Build a Smart Crate. Choose whether you want to minimize the number of separate store checkouts or minimize the estimated purchase price.
  4. Send groups to retailer carts. The long-term goal is to place matched tracks into your connected retailer accounts where approved APIs allow it. You would still complete payment directly with each retailer.
LISTEN & SOURCE

Find the download while you listen on Spotify

Connect your Spotify account and this page can read the track currently playing in Spotify. Playback stays in Spotify; DJ Unified Search only uses the track metadata to start a purchase search or add the song to your Smart Crate.

Use your own Spotify developer app

Since February 2026, Spotify caps each Development Mode app at five authorized users, added by hand by the app owner. Registering your own app gives you an allowance you only have to spend on yourself, and nobody has to approve you.

You need an active Spotify Premium subscription to own a Development Mode app — Spotify made this mandatory in February 2026. If Premium lapses, the app stops working until you resubscribe. There is no way around this: unlimited access requires Extended Quota Mode, which Spotify grants only to registered companies with a launched product and roughly 250,000 monthly users.

  1. Open developer.spotify.com/dashboard and click Create app. Any name and description will do.
  2. Add this exact Redirect URI to the app, then save:
  3. Under Web API, copy the Client ID and Client Secret into the fields below.

Your Client ID and Secret are stored on this site against your WordPress account, in plain text — the same way the shared app is stored. A site administrator can read them. Use an app you created for this purpose, and rotate the secret in the Spotify dashboard if you ever remove your account here.

How to use it: start music in the Spotify app on your phone, computer or another active Spotify device. Return here and tap ↻ Refresh Spotify Track. When the track appears, choose Find Purchase Options or + Add to Smart Crate.
03 SOUNDCLOUD

Paste a public SoundCloud playlist

No SoundCloud login or paid API key is required for this prototype. We load SoundCloud’s official public embedded player, then use its Widget API to read the playlist’s public track metadata into your Smart Crate.

Works with public SoundCloud track, set and playlist URLs supported by SoundCloud oEmbed. Private playlists and account Likes still require official authenticated API access.

SMART CRATE0 tracksAdd the current song, import Liked Songs, choose a Spotify playlist, load a SoundCloud set, or paste a list.
Single Track is useful when you need to locate one specific song, remix or version. Enter as much identifying information as you know. Adding the artist name and mix/version usually produces a cleaner match.

Bulk Import / Smart Crate is the main workflow. Import Spotify Liked Songs or a playlist above, or paste a crate here. Up to 150 tracks are sourced in this prototype; blank lines and duplicates are removed automatically.
Best format: Artist - Track Title. Mix names can be included, for example Artist - Track Title (Extended Mix).
Prototype mode — v0.8.2. Retailer prices, availability and cart handoffs are simulated. Each Smart Crate track now shows every demo retailer price and lets you choose which retailer should receive that track. Demo retailer links open a track-specific retailer search; exact product URLs and real cart writes require live retailer catalog integrations. Spotify Listen & Source uses per-user OAuth against one configured Spotify developer app. Search results are cached server-side so repeated track lookups can be reused across users. No retailer accounts are connected, no carts are modified, and no music is scraped or resold. When real retailer integrations are added, this service is intended to organize and hand off purchase selections—not bypass retailer checkout, licensing, pricing or payment systems.
